Premium Lowline Angus Genetics
Lowlines are Not Miniatures. They are genetically selected
100% original Champion Angus bloodlines

Lowlines are Noted for their heavy muscling, easy fleshing,
easy calving & easy handling
Increase Reproductive Performance & Productivity
Calving ease, smaller size plus superior grass conversion =
more pounds of beef per acre = more $$$

Topline Lowlines offers a variety of Lowline genetics including direct Australian imports. We select for feed efficiency, natural muscling, conformation and of course...good temperament. We're located just 45 minutes NE of Seattle in Monroe, Washington.

Our goal is to produce superior seedstock for:

Grass Raised/Niche Beef Producers
The unique small size and early maturity patterns enable tender, smaller cuts of well marbled beef. Lowlines are genetically designed for the natural and grass raised beef market. Their frame size is proportionally correct for superior grass conversion.

Commercial Breeders Looking for a Better Return on Investment
Decrease frame size for increased profits…reduce calf loss by breeding Lowlines to first calf heifers…higher stocking rates producing more product per pound.

Eric Grant writing for Cascade Cattlemen states in his article “Becoming Better Seedstock Producers: Building Value in the Marketplace”…"I think we’re going to see a greater focus on the overall efficiency of the cow herd. There will be much more focus on trying to find what cow size gives us the greatest return for our investment. We may see some downsizing in our cows as a result of this.”

Small Farms & Ranchettes
Looking to raise family friendly and highly marketable cattle? Lowlines are an excellent choice for the family enterprise. Because of their size and docile nature, the whole family can participate in their care and handling. Lowline cattle offer the opportunity for smaller acreage property owners to experience raising cattle for enjoyment and profit.

We really enjoy the day to day handling of our Lowlines and we're very excited about the future of Lowline cattle. The market is strong especially since people are discovering their exceptional attributes.

The future is going back to the "olden" days where cattle were shorter but with just as much proportionate muscle and beefiness and with less wasted bone. Lowlines are exceptional where rib eye and beef yield are the goal.
